Health and Safety Policy Statement

It is the policy of the management to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other relevant legislation relating to the provision and maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment.

The company's specific objectives are: -
• To prevent all injuries in the workplace
• Establish and maintain safe, healthy and environmentally sound working procedures and practices throughout its operations.

SWS have developed an in-house and total QHSE system and infrastructure via our Integrated Management System (IMS). This undergoes regular updates and revision to ensure it remains fully compliant with our offshore/ onshore best working practices and HSE legislation.

Health, Safety Management & Implementation

Successful implementation of this policy requires the wholehearted co-operation of all employees and acceptance by each individual of their responsibility to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of any other persons who may be affected by their action at work.
It is also the responsibility of every employee and contractor to work with care and to observe the task, worksite and client safety rules and report to their immediate supervisor any near miss, dangerous occurrence or hazardous condition they may experience or discover. Constant vigilance is necessary to ensure that safety awareness is maintained.
SWS recognizes and accepts its duty to protect the health and safety of all visitors to the company, including contractors, temporary workers and any members of the public who might be affected by our operations.
The health and safety policy of SWS will be continually monitored and updated, particularly when changes in the scale or nature of operations occur. The management also welcomes ideas which may lead to the prevention of accidents. These should be brought to the attention of the nominated company safety advisor. Formal reviews will take place at least every 12 months.
Copies of our Health and Safety policy are freely available to all employees, suppliers, contractors, regulatory authorities and customers on request.
The policy has been reviewed, formalized and endorsed by the Company’s directors, who will take responsibility for its execution.
