Since 1978 South West Surveys has specialized in supplying highly experienced personnel to the offshore energy and telecommunication industries worldwide, primarily as client representatives and marine project managers.
We have undergone a period of managed growth since 2007 business and we have now become the premium independent agency for the supply of offshore client representatives.
Our aim is to provide the best service to our clients by using the highest quality personnel in the industry and to run a company for which we ourselves would have liked to work.

Rob Nock, Director
Quality Manager & Business Development
A hydrographic surveyor with over 20 years experience in the offshore energy and submarine telecommunication industries. He is highly experienced in offshore survey, subsea construction and submarine cable engineering.
Damian Francis, Director
Project Manager & Business Development
A marine geophysicist with experience in the offshore energy and submarine telecommunications industries. He has extensive experience in offshore marine surveys, subsea construction and cable route engineering having designed numerous submarine telecom systems worldwide.
Mick Slater, Operations Coordinator
Logistics & Invoicing
A hydrographic surveyor who has recently left the Royal Naval Hydrographic Service and is now Operations Coordinator at SWS. He has managed personnel and logistics for survey projects around the world for the last 33 years
Richard Samuel, Company Accountant
Financial Management
A chartered management accountant who has worked extensively in the finance and operations roles in a large international telecommunications corporation. He now manages the finance activities at SWS.
